Job Summary

Del Amo Behavioral Health System, a subsidiary of UHS, is seeking a skilled Call Center Specialist to join our team. As a Call Center Specialist, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls and managing general telephone inquiries related to patients and medical staff. This role involves addressing various inquiries and providing essential support regarding patient care services.

Responsibilities

* Handle all nursing department's incoming calls and manage general telephone inquiries
* Address various inquiries and provide essential support regarding patient care services
* Work closely with medical staff to resolve patient-related issues
* Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and inquiries

Requirements

* High School Graduate or Equivalent required
* Licensed Vocational Nurse license required
* Associate's Degree preferred
* Previous experience in a call center or healthcare environment preferred
* Working knowledge of Microsoft software, EMR systems, medical terminology, and healthcare processes
