Hospital Cleaning Specialist

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hospital Cleaning Specialist to join our team at Torrance Memorial Medical Center. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

**Responsibilities:**

* Perform terminal cleaning of patient rooms, including changing bed linen and sanitizing surfaces
* Move and arrange furniture for meetings and departmental moves
* Clean and maintain assigned areas of the hospital, including floors, walls, sinks, and lavatories
* Replenish supplies of paper products, hand sanitizer, and hand soap
* Collect and transport medical waste and solid waste to designated storage areas
* Maintain assigned equipment in a clean and functional condition
* Respond to calls for special cleaning assistance from other departments
* Collect soiled linen and transport bags to the dock area for pick-up

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
