Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiography Specialist to join our team at Torrance Memorial Medical Center. As an Echo Technician II, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations of the heart and related vessels, including 2D and M-Mode echo cardiology and color-flow Doppler studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiography procedures on all adults, children, and neonates, adhering to department and Medical Center standards.
  • Interpret echocardiography results and provide accurate calculations of cardiac structures.
  • Prepare patients for exams, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.
  • Assign workload and breaks to other techs, maintain equipment, and order supplies as needed.
  • Participate in department meetings, inservice education, and policy/procedure review.
Requirements
  • Echocardiography graduate with RDCS or RCS or RDCS/RCS eligible and/or certificate from Accredited Echocardiography Program.
  • 2 years of experience as an Echo Tech in a hospital setting.
  • BCLS or ACLS Certification.
Compensation

$66.94 per hour.
