Mechanical Designer II

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Designer II to join our team at Logistic Services Int. as a Mechanical CAD Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed mechanical designs and models using 3D CAD software, with a strong focus on large assembly management.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop complex mechanical systems and components using 3D CAD software, including Solidworks and AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation and technical specifications for mechanical designs.
- Conduct thorough analysis and testing of mechanical designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior designers and engineers.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and drafting.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.
- Experience with Faro Arm 3D Scanner and Geomagic Design X software.
- Knowledge of 3D printing, additive manufacturing, and rapid prototyping.
- Security clearance (ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance).
