We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team at Logistic Services Int. as a Mechanical Designer.
Job SummaryThe Mechanical Designer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and products, utilizing 3D CAD software and other design tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems and products, including detail drawings and models, using 3D CAD software and other design tools.
- Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure design meets customer requirements and company standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and other relevant documents.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering and design software.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of 3D CAD software, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance, if required by the contract.
- Experience with Faro Arm 3D Scanner and Geomagic Design X software.
- Experience in 3D Printing, Additive Manufacturing, and Rapid Prototyping.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
