Job Summary

Abacus Group is looking for a reliable HR Benefits/Payroll Specialist to provide critical support to our client's Manhattan office. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate payroll and benefits information, ensuring seamless employee experiences.

To excel in this position, you should have a solid understanding of benefits administration, payroll processing, and HR software applications. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and vendors.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Biweekly payroll processing, including data entry and reconciliations
  • Benefit enrollment management, ensuring accurate data and timely enrollments
  • Days off and absences tracking, updating employee records accordingly
  • Supporting employee onboarding and resolving any related issues

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in benefits/payroll administration
  • Experience working with benefits vendors and HR software
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in Workday or similar HR systems

Our estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $73,000, taking into account the specific requirements and expectations of this position.
