Job Summary:

USA Health is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical assistance to our users, ensuring seamless operation of our computer systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and resolve computer hardware and software issues, as well as network problems, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Investigate technical issues and escalate unresolved matters to the appropriate resource.
  • Provide first-level assistance and support to end-users via phone, email, or chat, and educate them on basic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Carry out troubleshooting to determine the cause and correction of user problems with applications, PC software, hardware, and/or network.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incoming concerns and issues, and properly escalate unresolved matters using our designated ticketing system.
  • Recommend procedure modifications or improvements to enhance our IT services.
  • Ensure required documentation items are included on help desk tickets.
  • Utilize excellent customer service skills to exceed end-user expectations and follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved.
  • Support IT events, such as application go-lives, and participate in regular team meetings.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and two years of related experience.
  • Successfully completed studies beyond the high school level from an accredited institution may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IT Help Desk experience and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • An associate's degree with an IT focus is preferred.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires regular and prompt attendance, as well as the ability to work a schedule as defined and overtime as required.
