Position Summary
This role is integral to the human resources department, focusing on executing administrative tasks with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities include managing employee records, overseeing job offer processes, and facilitating onboarding for new hires. The associate will also handle internal employee transitions and maintain documentation for corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Administration
Personnel Management
- Maintain and update employee information, ensuring accuracy in records related to pay rates and attendance.
- Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure the integrity of the HR filing system and manage documentation for corrective actions.
- Oversee employee transfers and title changes within the department.
Filing & Record Keeping
- Create and organize employee files, including all personnel-related documents.
- Maintain historical HR records in an orderly manner for easy retrieval.
- Administer workplace notices, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations.
- Assist the HR team with various administrative projects.
Employee Onboarding and Separation
- Manage the hiring process, including background checks and preparation of new hire documentation.
- Conduct new hire orientations, onboarding multiple employees weekly.
- Prepare documentation for employee separations.
Additional Responsibilities
- Continuously seek improvements in HR processes.
- Complete special projects and other tasks as assigned by management.
- Maintain high ethical standards and effective communication within the workplace.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma with at least one year of experience in HR administration or related fields.
Work Environment
This position typically operates in an office setting, with moderate noise levels. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Physical Demands
