Bilingual Japanese/English HR/Admin Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Japanese/English HR/Admin Specialist to join our team in Downtown Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time, exempt, in-person position, with benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, payroll, organization development, and training.
  • Support the human resources aspects of all employees including visa procurement, tax equalization, coordination of housing, benefits, and compensation packages.
  • Administer the preparation of monthly financial statements, manage the invoice process, documents all financial processes and systems; and assures an organization operates at maximum efficiency.
  • Researches, analyzes, and reconciles all accounting documents and general ledger accounts, assures accuracy, and makes necessary adjustments.
  • Perform duties in the areas of management, accounting, tax preparation, and financial planning, utilizing the understanding of current legislation and compliance requirements as well as the corporation's goals and objectives.
  • Administer the processing of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, and coordinates posting and payment activities for vendor invoices and check requests.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Ability to speak, read, and write Japanese is required
  • Knowledge of US Labor laws
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Microsoft Word)
