This role requires delivering outcomes at both strategic and operational levels across all business dimensions. You will be responsible for the performance of your assigned product categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the product portfolio's performance, fostering and enhancing vendor partnerships.
  • Expand product offerings and vendor networks.
  • Lead negotiations and establish category strategies.
  • Develop marketing initiatives that drive sales and enhance margins.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong intuition for customer experience, a solid grasp of business and product dynamics, along with a robust understanding of technical concepts.

Success in this role requires thriving in an entrepreneurial setting, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize competing demands. Essential skills include high judgment, persuasive influence, analytical capabilities, and outstanding communication and leadership.

Collaboration:

In this position, you will work closely with various internal and external teams to enhance our product catalog and customer experience both in-store and online. Responsibilities may include:

  • Launching new products and managing their setup.
  • Overseeing pricing strategies.
  • Preparing for assortment resets.
  • Reviewing and presenting industry trends.
  • Collaborating with marketing to execute awareness campaigns.

Given the diverse range of tasks, you will develop and apply a broad skill set across key functional areas such as merchandising, procurement, pricing strategies, inventory management, online marketing, and financial analysis.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about learning, willing to take full ownership of processes and execution, detail-oriented, and possess strong customer service skills, both internally and externally. The ability to operate effectively in uncertain situations is crucial. A collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach are vital for success.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in account management, project or program management, or purchasing.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other business analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with software and editing tools, including HTML, Excel, and SQL.
  • Background in online retail.
  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, or HTML.
