This role is responsible for ensuring seamless patient access and registration processes within Fairview Health Services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate patient registration and scheduling activities, including insurance eligibility and point-of-service collections.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and other customers, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Articulate information clearly to patients, guarantors, and family members, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their visit and responsibilities.
- Coordinate phone consults for providers and facilitate transfers to other facilities as needed.
- Manage daily worklists and resolve assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Adhere to all compliance and regulatory requirements, consistently demonstrating Fairview's Commitments to Respect and Continuous Improvement.
- One or more years of customer service experience and applicable computer knowledge and skills.
- Post-secondary education preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting with registration experience and Epic experience a plus.
