Systems Validation Engineer

This position is open to candidates with relevant experience in systems engineering.
Job Overview:
Beacon Hill Staffing Group is in search of a proficient Systems Validation Engineer to enhance our client's team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust foundation in requirements formulation, verification, validation, and system integration, particularly within the realm of spacecraft engineering.
The selected individual will leverage Model Based Engineering (MBE or MBSE) tools, specifically Catia or Cameo, to streamline and enhance system design and development methodologies.
Familiarity with Agile practices and experience with tools such as Confluence and Jira for system and software design are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and oversee system requirements, verification, and validation processes.
- Execute trade studies and risk assessments to maximize system efficacy and dependability.
- Spearhead hardware/software integration initiatives for spacecraft development projects.
- Employ Model Based Engineering (MBE or MBSE) tools, particularly Catia or Cameo, for system design and evaluation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coherence of system design with project objectives.
- Engage in Agile development methodologies, utilizing tools such as Confluence and Jira for effective project oversight.
- Assist in system testing and evaluation efforts to guarantee adherence to project specifications and requirements.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in requirements formulation, verification, validation, and system integration.
- Expertise in Model Based Engineering (MBE or MBSE) tools, especially Catia or Cameo.
- Acquaintance with Agile methodologies and tools such as Confluence and Jira.
- Background in spacecraft development, construction, and testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
