Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Director of External Reporting

Location: Corporate headquarters currently situated in Skillman, NJ, with plans to relocate to Summit, NJ in the near future.

Travel Requirements: 10%

Compensation: $85-115K

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, your primary duties will include:
  • Assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated external financial statements (10K, 10Q, etc.) in compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
  • Supporting the quarterly review and annual audit processes.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and disclosure requirements to assist stakeholders with inquiries.
  • Preparing quarterly disclosure checklists in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Adhering to various control procedures and edit checks to ensure the accuracy of reported financial results.
  • Identifying issues for follow-up and resolution with relevant stakeholders.
  • Conducting accounting research and aiding in the interpretation and implementation of complex reporting requirements.
Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting.
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Familiarity with financial statements and/or external (SEC) reporting.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and business partnering skills.
  • Excellent presentation abilities.
  • Proficient technical research skills.
  • Robust problem-solving skills and capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to foster and maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and driven to enhance processes continuously.
Desired:
  • Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CMA, Chartered Accountant, or CGMA.
  • Experience in public accounting and/or within a public company environment.
