Private Equity Accounting Supervisor

Position Overview
As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial closing processes on a monthly and annual basis. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data through general ledger account reconciliations.
- Preparing financial statements in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Generating tax basis financials for registered advisors while adhering to tax regulations.
- Collaborating with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax compliance activities.
- Conducting financial data analysis and delivering timely financial reports.
- Establishing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Staying updated on changes in accounting regulations and compliance requirements.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, particularly in hedge funds or private equity.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with SEC regulations.
- Experience in financial reporting, analysis, and complex account reconciliations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

- This position requires 3 days per week onsite, with a full 5 days onsite during the training phase.
