Manager of Fund Accounting

Our services encompass private equity fund administration, advisory firm establishment, regulatory compliance, financial controls, and operational support, catering to a diverse clientele.
As a key member of our team, you will engage directly with prominent private equity and asset management firms in the alternative asset space, guided by our seasoned industry professionals. Your role will involve:
- Assisting IQ-EQ client leads with various Private Equity and investment fund structures across multiple sectors.
- Collaborating closely with management and support teams to align client expectations and ensure timely delivery of client obligations as per agreements and regulatory deadlines.
- Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of client operating documents and applying relevant terms to transaction recording, financial reporting, and allocation of income and expenses.
- Preparing and reviewing journal entries, cash reconciliations, interest calculations, and monitoring loan covenants.
- Compiling and reviewing financial statements, including notes disclosures and supporting schedules.
- Conducting investment reconciliations and managing accounting for investment disposals and ownership transfers.
- Overseeing quarter-end and year-end processes while addressing requests from external auditors and tax teams.
- Managing client employee credit card reconciliations and payroll processing.
- Contributing to the onboarding, training, and development of new team members as necessary.
- Evaluating operational efficiency and proposing enhancements for process improvement.
- Ensuring timely responses to ad hoc requests from clients and investors.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Over 5 years of experience in the Private Equity or related alternative investment sector.
- Familiarity with alternative investment client structures, including funds and management companies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central, Navision, or Investran is advantageous.
- Strong accounting knowledge and exceptional client service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide constructive feedback.
- Capacity to produce a high volume of accurate work with meticulous attention to detail.
- Skill in managing multiple priorities and meeting competing deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work overtime as required to meet deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Investran is preferred.
