We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Supervisor to join our Private Equity Fund Accounting team at SEI Investments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accounting, and administration services to our private equity fund clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the accounting operations and resolution of accounting issues for clients.
- Perform timely reconciliations regarding Net Asset Values and provide accounting reports.
- Communicate transactions associated with the fund(s) and work closely with internal and external clients to provide accurate and thorough accounting packages.
- Coordinate and support various year-end audit engagements in accordance with GAAP accounting standards.
- Perform due-diligence to ensure clients are in compliance with government laws and regulations.
- Train and supervise accounting analysts on systems, processing, procedures, and job responsibilities.
- Lead a team environment that encourages self-motivation, organization, and aims to complete multiple client deliverables in a timely manner without sacrificing excellence or quality.
- Correspond with external investment managers regarding day-to-day fund inquiries, including reconciliations, coordinating scheduled deliverables, and critical issues.
- Client engagement and a dedication to quality service are essential for success.
- Assist the manager with conducting performance appraisals, monthly one-on-ones with team analysts, and provide career pathing and training.
- Ensure staffing requirements are met by participating in analyst interviews.
- Partner with the manager to provide and cultivate a team environment, including individual development, promotions, and disciplinary action.
- BA/BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years' experience with Private Equity Fund Accounting/Fund Administration.
- Minimum of 1 year supervisory-level experience.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Self-motivation, organization, and ability to complete multiple client deliverables in a timely manner without sacrificing excellence or quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Able to broaden one's knowledge of our industry by learning new concepts and systems and taking the initiative to apply it to daily work assignments.
- Attention-to-detail to ensure that all results consistently meet the highest standard of quality and accuracy.
- Collaboration with internal and external collaborators.
