Private Equity Fund Accounting Manager

Role Summary:
In this role, you will engage directly with prominent private equity and asset management firms within the alternative asset landscape, guided by our seasoned team of industry experts. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting, executing, and reviewing a range of services, including:
- Supporting client leads on diverse Private Equity and investment fund structures across multiple sectors.
- Collaborating closely with management and support teams to meet client expectations and adhere to timelines for deliverables, as stipulated by client agreements and regulatory deadlines.
- Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of client operating documents and structures to accurately record transactions and financial reporting.
- Preparing and/or reviewing journal entries, cash reconciliations, interest calculations, and loan covenant monitoring.
- Drafting and/or reviewing financial statements, including notes disclosures and supporting schedules.
- Managing investment reconciliations and accounting for investment disposals and ownership transfers.
- Overseeing quarter-end and year-end processes while addressing requests from external auditors and tax teams.
- Facilitating client employee credit card reconciliations and payroll processing.
- Assisting in the onboarding and training of new team members as necessary.
- Evaluating operational efficiency and proposing process improvements.
- Ensuring timely responses to ad hoc requests from clients and investors.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Over 5 years of experience in the Private Equity or related alternative investment sector.
- Experience with alternative investment client structures, including funds and management companies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central, Navision, or Investran is advantageous.
- Strong accounting knowledge and exceptional client service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and accept constructive feedback.
- Proficiency in producing high-quality work with meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines.
- Effective communication skills in a professional setting.
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary to fulfill deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Investran is preferred.
Compensation:
