Position Overview

Opportunity with SBM Management

SBM Management is seeking a proactive Operations Supervisor. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the operational activities necessary to fulfill the contractual obligations of the organization. This includes comprehensive planning, supervision, budgeting, vendor relations, customer engagement, and other critical managerial duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and organizes work schedules to guarantee optimal service delivery.
  • Creates service personnel schedules and assigns them to specific routes.
  • Evaluates and inspects the facility's physical condition to ensure compliance with program standards, including safety, quality, and service.
  • Conducts audits and manages inventories, supplies, and equipment.
  • Researches and advocates for innovative equipment and methodologies.
  • Reviews service requests from customers to determine the underlying issues and collaborates with management to address them.
  • Implements organizational policies and strategic objectives.
  • Analyzes budget proposals to identify potential areas for cost reduction.
  • Aids in marketing services to expand market reach, enhance market share, and secure a competitive edge in the industry.
  • Inspects facilities and assesses the utilization of space and resources.
  • Assists in the preparation of plans, budgets, and schedule modifications, including cost estimates and contract documentation.
  • Ensures that operational sites consistently meet budgetary targets.
  • Aids in the formulation of long-term strategies, conceptual designs, and capital expenditure requirements for program enhancements.
  • Coordinates program specifications, proposal requirements, and related documentation.
  • Gathers data for the preparation of estimates.
  • Monitors and reports on financial aspects of operations, including labor hours, overhead, supplies, expenses, billing, forecasting, and any changes in these areas.
  • Maintains a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Ensures adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, including FLSA, OSHA, ADA, etc.
  • Directs supervisory staff involved in supporting facility programs.
  • Acts as a liaison among the company, customers, clients, employees, and subcontractors.
  • Maintains databases related to contracts and contractor statuses.
  • Reviews all communications concerning contractors and responds appropriately.
  • Establishes and nurtures relationships with contractors to facilitate smooth contract processes.
  • Conducts and participates in meetings to ensure effective communication with customers, clients, and employees.
  • Assists with human resource-related matters and concerns.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in operations management
  • Extensive facilities management background
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel

Compensation: Up to $67,000 annually based on experience

Shift: Various shifts required to meet business needs
