Job Summary

eTeam Inc is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Handler III to join our team. As a key member of our distribution center, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pallet/Case Picking
  • Processing customer orders including scanning bar codes, picking and labeling boxes.
  • Pick, pack and process orders through our ERP system.
  • Processing orders through RF technology to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area in accordance with SOP and work instructions.
  • Ensuring compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.
  • Completing all necessary RF device training to obtain the necessary profiles.
  • Verifying accuracy and packaging shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Pallet Build
  • Palletizing products including scanning, retrieving and placing completed orders on pallets.
  • Re-palletizing products for shipment to ensure efficient use of space.
  • Assisting with dock manifest duties including scanning completed pallets and operating the shrink wrapper.
  • Transporting pallets using Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to ensure safe and efficient movement.
  • Verifying accuracy and packaging shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Inbound/Outbound/Inventory Movement
  • Utilizing ERP systems to manage inventory and track shipments.
  • Preparing goods for final shipment to ensure timely delivery.
  • Preparing and coordinating documentation for domestic and international shipments.
  • Loading and unloading shipments using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Ensuring safe and efficient movement of materials to prevent damage and injury.
  • Completing all assigned duties in a timely manner to meet department standards.
  • Locating and retrieving products to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Replenishing picking locations to maintain efficient inventory levels.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area in accordance with SOP and work instructions.
  • Completing all necessary RF device training to obtain the necessary profiles.
  • Ensuring compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.
  • Following all safety instructions to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support the team.
  • Training and implementing functions in SAP to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintaining current status in C2C training modules to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Verifying accuracy and packaging shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Material Handling Equipment
  • Operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintaining equipment in good working condition to prevent damage and injury.
  • Reporting any damage or maintenance issues to ensure prompt repair.
Safety and Security
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by following all safety instructions.
  • Assisting in maintaining the security of the warehouse to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Reporting any suspicious activity to ensure prompt action.
Quality
  • Understanding organizational quality goals to ensure compliance with company policies.
Sanitation and Housekeeping
  • Maintaining a clean and professional image in the workplace.
  • Following guidelines for sanitation and housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area in accordance with SOP and work instructions.
Hazmat Training
  • Receiving Hazmat training to include general awareness, function specific, security awareness, security plan and safety training.
Cross-training
  • Becoming knowledgeable with the responsibilities of other warehouse positions to support the team.
  • Assisting as required to ensure efficient operation of the warehouse.
  • Acting as a backup during times of absence or vacation to ensure continuity.
Job Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Relevant experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • Good verbal communication skills to ensure effective communication with team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and ensure efficient operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret distribution documents to ensure accurate processing.
  • Ability to work well with others to support the team and ensure efficient operation.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision to ensure independence and efficiency.
  • May be required to operate MHE and use Voice/RF scanner to ensure efficient operation.
  • Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills to ensure efficient operation and accurate tracking.
  • General distribution knowledge to ensure understanding of warehouse operations.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation.
