Job Summary:

GreenWaste Recovery LLC is seeking a skilled Laborer - Material Handler to join our team. As a Laborer - Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our Construction and Demolition (C&D) facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and sort materials, such as wood and cement, with high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Transport materials and equipment, including drills and grinders, safely and effectively.
  • Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work in close proximity to others while sorting materials from the conveyor belt.
  • Perform various duties, such as litter control, general cleaning, and assisting with onsite projects.
  • Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping on plants and facilities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Ability to distinguish between commodities with ease to separate materials properly.
  • Reliable transportation, punctuality, and a strong work ethic to minimize disruptions to daily operations.
  • Ability to work as a team and collaborate with others.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to physically push, pull, and lift objects up to 75 lbs.
  • Constant bending and twisting.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and semi-frequent sitting.
  • Constant climbing in and out of equipment to grab carts.

Work Environment:

Typical work week is Monday through Friday. Overtime required as needed. Will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions. Ability to work in a setting with frequent changes in equipment, start/end time, service city/town, and routes based on operational needs.
