Job Summary

MILLENNIUMSOFT is seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products or goods within a warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate records and develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area or process.
  • Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
  • Work within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to quality guidelines.
  • Work under general to limited supervision.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Zero to one year of warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
  • Obtain and/or maintain appropriate licenses, training, or certifications as needed.
  • Basic skills training in an analytical or scientific method or operational process area.
  • Effective communication skills to work with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.
  • Ability to perform in a metrics-driven environment and have general computer skills.

  • While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to episodes of walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, lifting, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, talking, hearing, twisting, frequent use of hands to finger, handle, feel, pick, or type, which can include repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, or fingers.
  • The job can require lifting and/or moving over 50 pounds.
  • The position will have exposure to work near moving mechanical parts, extreme weather conditions, and vibration.
  • Occasionally, the position will have exposure to work in high, precarious places and fumes/airborne particles.
  • It is hot in the summer months (no AC) and cold in the winter months (limited heating).
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
