Position Overview:

We are looking for a committed Educational Psychologist to contribute to the well-being and academic achievements of students. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in evaluating student needs, offering psychological support, and working closely with educators and families to create effective strategies for intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral health.
  • Design and execute personalized intervention plans based on evaluation findings.
  • Provide psychological counseling and support to students facing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate with educational staff, administrators, and families to meet students' needs and improve their learning experiences.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for staff and parents on mental health awareness, behavior management, and academic support techniques.
  • Engage in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks to promote student achievement.
  • Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation of assessments, interventions, and student progress.
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related discipline.
  • Possession of a valid Ohio School Psychologist License.
  • Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) certification is advantageous.
