Position Overview:

We are looking for a committed School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services to students. This role is vital in fostering both the mental well-being and academic achievement of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Design and execute tailored intervention strategies based on assessment findings.
  • Offer counseling and psychological assistance to students facing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, school leaders, and families to meet students' diverse needs and improve their educational journey.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for staff and parents on topics related to mental health, behavior management, and academic support.
  • Engage in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) initiatives to promote student success.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of assessments, interventions, and student progress.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related discipline.
  • Possession of a valid Ohio School Psychologist License.
  • Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) certification is advantageous.
