Position: School Psychologist
Overview: We are looking for a committed School Psychologist to contribute to the mental well-being and academic achievement of students. This position is essential in evaluating student needs, offering psychological support, and working closely with educators and families to create effective strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related discipline.
- Valid School Psychologist License in Ohio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral health.
- Design and execute personalized intervention plans based on evaluation outcomes.
- Provide psychological counseling and support to students facing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, school leaders, and families to meet students' needs and improve their educational journey.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for staff and parents regarding mental health, behavior management, and academic support strategies.
- Engage in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks to foster student success.
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of assessments, interventions, and student progress.
- Assist in the creation and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans.
Certifications Required:
- Valid Ohio School Psychologist License.
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) certification is advantageous.
