Position Overview:

We are looking for a committed School Psychologist to provide essential support for the mental well-being and academic achievement of students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating student needs, offering counseling services, and working collaboratively with educators and families to create effective support strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral health.
  • Design and execute personalized intervention plans based on evaluation findings.
  • Offer counseling and psychological assistance to students facing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.
  • Work in partnership with teachers, school administrators, and parents to address the diverse needs of students and improve their educational experiences.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff and parents on topics related to mental health, behavior management, and academic support strategies.
  • Engage in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks to promote student success.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of assessments, interventions, and student progress reports.
  • Assist in the development and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related discipline.
  • Possession of a valid Ohio School Psychologist License.
  • Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) certification is advantageous.
