Your Role:


The Environmental Services Supervisor leads a team of custodial staff in delivering daily cleaning and laundry services, under the guidance of the Maintenance & Plant Operations Manager.

They ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment for clients and staff, while adhering to budget estimates and timelines for project efficiency.

Additionally, they oversee compliance with departmental protocols, policies, guidelines, and facility standards, while also performing the duties of team members as needed.


Key Responsibilities:
Facilitates the professional and technical growth of staff by addressing inquiries, demonstrating proper work techniques, and providing training.


Oversees and engages in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in all shared spaces, adheres to safety protocols for handling and cleaning materials, and manages facility supplies.

Coordinates departmental personnel and daily operations, monitors work progress, and reports to supervisors on the status and advancement of tasks.


Performs maintenance duties such as operating and repairing equipment, managing parcel deliveries, conducting routine inspections and repairs of facilities, and maintaining power tools and hand equipment.

Conducts training sessions to enhance the knowledge and skills of team members.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Education

High School diploma or GED.

Experience

Three (3) years of experience in general housekeeping or related environmental services that have equipped the individual with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position; formal training in related fields may substitute on a year-for-year basis.

Licenses/Certifications

Possession of a valid driver's license as the position may require driving company vehicles. (Required)

Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in facility Environmental Services, including lead or supervisory roles. (Preferred)

Bilingual skills (Preferred)
