Position Overview:

We are looking for a committed School Psychologist to contribute to the educational environment by enhancing the mental well-being and academic performance of students. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in identifying student needs, offering psychological support, and working collaboratively with educators and families to create effective strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral health.
  • Design and execute tailored intervention plans based on evaluation findings.
  • Provide counseling services to students facing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.
  • Work alongside teachers, school leaders, and parents to address student needs and improve their educational journey.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff and parents on mental health awareness, behavior management, and academic support techniques.
  • Engage in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks to promote student achievement.
  • Keep precise and confidential documentation of assessments, interventions, and student progress.
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related discipline.
  • Possession of a valid Ohio School Psychologist License.
  • Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) certification is advantageous.
