We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and service to our customers in the installation, inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of medical equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical service support to customers in the installation, inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of medical equipment.
- Prioritize and schedule customer onsite visits to maximize efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform software upgrades on medical equipment and maintain positive professional communications with customers, regional team members, and the technical support group.
- Document all activities in accordance with company Service Administrative and Quality system policies and procedures.
- Maintain all service contracts in accordance with company service policies and procedures and actively pursue the renewal of existing contracts.
- Provide technical support for Sales and Clinical Education staff.
- Minimum of an Associate of Science Degree or equivalent in electronics with emphasis in instrumentation and digital circuitry.
- Prior field service experience or hospital biomed experience preferred.
- Must be available for emergency service during off-hours and be on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.
