Technical Support Specialist

UltraSource LLC is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to provide technical support for equipment in-house and at customer locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical skills, industrial control systems, and PLC relay logic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair equipment at customer facilities to ensure full functionality.
- Investigate and resolve customer reports of technical issues with equipment.
- Coordinate problem resolution with engineering, manufacturing, and other personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of performance reports, expenses, and trip reports.
- Provide communication link between customer and company to ensure effective service.
Requirements:
- Certification from college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Vocational training or apprenticeships in electrical and mechanical skills, industrial control systems, and PLC relay logic.
- HVAC certification or experience preferred.
- CRM software and MS Office skills.
- Bi-lingual/Spanish capabilities a plus.
Work Environment:
The Technical Support Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. Travel is required up to 70% of the time, often for multiple consecutive weeks at the customer's site.
