Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Specialist to join our team at CTS Complete Technical Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading project controls processes, ensuring project deliverables are executed within budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage project data in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software.
  • Analyze data, review logs, and generate reports to inform project decisions.
  • Develop and implement effective scheduling and cost control strategies.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to ensure project execution plans are followed.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.
  • Approve purchase orders and subcontracts for proper coding.
  • Document changes to cost reports and forecasts.
  • Interface with the accounting department to review project costs and contingency costs.
  • Review and analyze upstream and downstream change orders.
  • Develop and present cash flow reports and schedule updates.
  • Apply and review the entry of logic ties within schedules.
  • Monitor resource loading of schedules.
  • Support interactive project planning meetings.
  • Develop and maintain an earned value management system.
  • Input and validate progress measurement.
  • Develop and maintain progress curves.
  • Perform material takeoffs and quality checks.
  • Perform field audits to validate accuracy of reporting and processes.
  • Assist with project forensic analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
  • 5 years of direct project controls experience preferred.
  • Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred.
  • Travel up to 50% required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • OSHA 10-hour safety certification ability to obtain.
