POSITION OVERVIEW

The SOREL Senior Email Marketing Manager plays a crucial role within the SOREL Global Brand Marketing and North America Ecommerce team. This position is tasked with developing and overseeing a comprehensive email marketing strategy aimed at enhancing customer loyalty, boosting retention rates, achieving sales growth targets, and maximizing consumer lifetime value.

This individual will be instrumental in driving growth and profitability through the strategic creation of email communications, including marketing, triggered, and operational email initiatives. The role focuses on refining and advancing our existing email marketing strategies with an emphasis on improved segmentation, relevance, and acquisition of a qualified email database to meet brand and commerce performance objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, manage, and implement the email marketing calendar, covering all tiers of email communication, including timing, frequency, promotional, and segmentation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams in Creative, E-commerce, Marketing, and Merchandising to develop messaging strategies and content that align with seasonal initiatives and business objectives.
  • Evaluate and analyze email campaign performance, utilizing insights to provide proactive recommendations for email strategy enhancements.
  • Generate regular performance reports for weekly and monthly email campaigns across the entire email program.
  • Lead the development of audience segmentation and messaging strategies to enhance personalization and drive incremental sales revenue.
  • Manage and implement email optimization and testing plans to improve engagement KPIs and sales performance.
  • Work in partnership with data analysts to monitor and refine testing agendas for continuous improvement of the email program.
  • Stay updated on marketing trends related to email to introduce innovative strategies and tactics.
  • Formulate email sales and acquisition strategies and monitor performance goals, including forecasting responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in advertising, marketing, business administration, Ecommerce, or communications.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience leading email strategy and conversion optimization in B2C/DTC retail or innovative consumer brands.
  • Proficient in using data and insights to inform strategies, with hands-on experience in web tools such as CMS, A/B testing tools, site analytics, and business intelligence tools. Familiarity with Emarsys or Bluecore ESPs is a plus.
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, capable of managing multiple priorities with urgency. Experience in influencing senior leadership and presenting results effectively.
