We are seeking a creative and strategic marketing professional to enhance our team Join us in serving the exciting, ever-evolving, commercial drone and geospatial industries This role contributes to, supports and executes the marketing and content strategy for all tech events and digital sites for the tech suite of products including Commercial UAV Expo, Commercial UAV News, Commercial UAV Expo Europe, Geo Week and Geo Week News. This position will report to the Senior Marketing Manager and work closely with the Content and Editorial Teams to plan and execute digital content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Marketing & Content Managers to identify, develop and execute strategic marketing plans to support digital and in-person content initiatives.
  • Work with Digital Solutions Team & Content Team to execute and market in-house, lead generating webinars to support digital content year-round.
  • Work with Design Team & Content Team to execute and market in-house, lead generating reports to support digital content year-round.
  • Work with Digital Inbound Team to develop and execute boosted post strategies across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X, to increase reach, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Compose compelling copy highlighting the education programs for product sites, emails, social media outlets, print and other marketing pieces.
  • Works closely with Content / Conference Teams to produce promotional material for speakers and sessions for both pre-event and onsite.
  • Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of marketing materials, webinars, reports, and other content.
  • Ensure all content produced adheres to brand guidelines, maintains high quality, and resonates with target audiences.
  • Engage with the community (ie. LinkedIn Groups) through social media channels and other platforms to foster relationships and drive engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Communications Team to optimize news site functionality and user experience, ensuring seamless lead capture and conversion opportunities throughout the user's journey.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must have 1-3 years of related work experience with an ability to understand marketing principles and develop strategic marketing plans. Experience within digital and/or event marketing, preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of various digital marketing channels such as social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X), email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Possess strong copywriting skills to compose compelling copy for various marketing channels, coupled with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and teams simultaneously to ensure deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WordPress, and Canva is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders.
  • Must be able to work cooperatively within a team and across departments while balancing competing priorities.

Work Environment:Diversified Communications offers the flexibility to work remotely and enjoy a hybrid schedule, working in the office 2 days per week. While this position reports into our office located in Portland, Maine, we are open to considering fully remote applicants. Travel is required in this position.
