We are in search of a seasoned and strategic eCommerce Senior Manager specializing in Retention Marketing. In this capacity, you will spearhead the development and implementation of email and SMS marketing initiatives aimed at boosting consumer engagement, retention, and revenue across our eCommerce channels. The ideal candidate will possess a solid history of managing successful email and SMS campaigns, a profound understanding of consumer behavior, and a commitment to achieving results. Key responsibilities may encompass team development, long-term eCommerce planning, establishing financial and performance objectives for channel managers, and delivering presentations to executive leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement comprehensive email and SMS marketing strategies that align with overarching business objectives, utilizing data-driven insights to pinpoint areas for enhancement and optimization.
  • Oversee the expansion of CRM channels, leveraging strategic insights and expertise to foster growth and diversification of communication avenues that enhance consumer engagement and relationship management.
  • Lead long-term strategic planning and set engagement and financial targets for all email and conversational marketing channels.
  • Enhance storytelling elements within marketing messaging to craft compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience and effectively convey our brand's essence.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team to design and refine email and SMS communication templates based on performance metrics.
  • Develop customer segmentation strategies to deliver personalized and targeted communications, working closely with data analytics teams to leverage customer insights for effective targeting.
  • Implement and maintain a marketing automation strategy to improve customer experiences and increase engagement, utilizing personalization techniques to provide relevant and timely content to various customer segments.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management, highlighting trends, areas for improvement, and growth opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of experience managing enterprise-level email and SMS marketing programs, preferably within the e-commerce sector.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in enhancing team skill sets.
  • Exceptional copywriting and content creation abilities.
  • Robust analytical skills with the capacity to interpret data and make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with email marketing regulations and best practices.
  • Experience with A/B testing and optimization methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
