Job Summary

Kasai North America, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Receiving Supervisor to oversee the daily activities of the Shipping department. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Direct and manage the daily activities of the Shipping department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Problem-Solving and Investigation: Investigate and resolve intra-departmental problems that may arise during daily operations, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Record Keeping and Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of necessary data, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Corrective Action Requests: Initiate and follow through on Corrective Action Requests to address any issues or concerns within the department.
  • Inter-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination on inventory levels and other related matters.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to maximize output and efficiency.
  • Employee Engagement and Development: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, encouraging employee involvement and development.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe and clean working environment, adhering to prescribed guidelines and company policies.
  • Quality and Environmental Policies: Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of Quality and Environmental policies.

  • Education: High School Degree, GED or higher.
  • Experience: N/A
  • Skills: Computer skills in working with Windows operating system, Word Processor, and Spreadsheet software; basic typing proficiency; good organizational and communication skills.

  • Other: Good leadership skills, capable of working any assigned shift, must be able to travel with limited notice, possess good communication skills.
