About the Role

The Territory Sales Manager is a key position within Summit Materials, responsible for developing and sustaining a business strategy to gain or protect market share for accounts in the territory. This role requires a proactive, organized, and results-oriented individual with a high level of energy and drive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business strategy to increase market share and protect existing accounts
  • Provide basic technical assistance and support to customers
  • Lead marketing and sales efforts within the sales territory
  • Monitor the quality and performance of competitive products in the territory
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
  • Manage working capital goals and meet DSO and SG&A objectives
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in building materials supply or associated industries
  • Proven track record of success in sales and territory management
  • Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend business unit and district meetings
