Description
We are seeking a committed and meticulous Housekeeping Operations Supervisor to become a part of our esteemed team at Jonathan Club. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting the Housekeeping Supervisor with the oversight of daily housekeeping functions, ensuring that all areas of the establishment are pristine, organized, and well-kept. This position demands a robust leader capable of inspiring and managing a team of housekeeping personnel, guaranteeing that all assignments are executed effectively and meet the highest standards of cleanliness.
The Housekeeping Operations Supervisor will also be tasked with training new team members, performing inspections, and addressing any concerns or complaints that may arise. This role requires exceptional organizational abilities, a sharp eye for detail, and the capacity to thrive under pressure. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in a housekeeping capacity, along with a proven history of supervisory duties. - Assist in overseeing daily housekeeping activities.
- Supervise and mentor housekeeping staff.
- Conduct routine inspections of guest accommodations and communal areas.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
- Address and resolve guest inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare and manage staff work schedules.
- Monitor and report on housekeeping performance metrics.
- Implement and uphold housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Assist in budget oversight and cost management.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
- Handle administrative responsibilities related to housekeeping operations.
- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of cleaning equipment.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff.
- Oversee linen and laundry services.
- Ensure timely completion of housekeeping assignments.
- Promote a positive and productive workplace environment.
Requirements
Three years of experience in housekeeping or custodial services, including at least one year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a housekeeping role.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
