Amentum is seeking an Intermediate Systems Engineer to support the Project Manager Intelligence Systems & Analytics Army (PM IS&A). This role is focused on the Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node (TITAN) Team.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Deliver systems and software engineering expertise for the Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node (TITAN) product line, emphasizing the analytical skills necessary to evaluate and integrate complex systems into future Army operations.

+ Offer software engineering assistance throughout the complete software life cycle of the product line.

+ Provide systems engineering services and subject matter expertise to confirm technical and operational solutions.

+ Develop test protocols, cases, and scenarios to assess effectiveness and performance, ensuring thorough validation of vendor solutions.

+ Organize engineering reviews for system configurations and operational documentation, and evaluate vendor-provided technical documents.

+ Draft technical requirements, engineering documentation, configuration management papers, and troubleshooting guidelines.

+ Contribute systems engineering insights to acquisition documents, including Statements of Work (SOWs), specifications, and government MS C documentation.

+ Possess knowledge of systems and network security, auditing, and user authentication processes.

+ Report vendor software defects, assist in prioritizing vendor issues, and facilitate configuration control boards and engineering reviews.

+ Aid in the development and evaluation of Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and other documentation as directed by Government stakeholders.

+ Provide requirements management and system architecture knowledge to ensure traceability of requirements and proper documentation of system architecture, along with risk management to capture, document, track, and mitigate system risks.

+ Manage tracking, procurement, and support for hardware and software items, and assist in creating training support documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

+ Detail-oriented with strong technical, verbal, and written communication abilities.

+ Experience in administering systems in Windows, Linux, and VMWare environments.

+ Background in intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions.

+ Familiarity with the use and testing of ISR software systems.

+ Understanding or experience with technologies such as RF Systems, Computing Systems, ISR Sensors, and Software Development (Python, C#, C++, etc.).

Required Clearance:

+ ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: TS/SCI.

Qualifications:

+ A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, System, Software, or Computer Engineering; Computer Science; Mechanical Engineering; or a related field is mandatory.

+ A minimum of ten (10) years of direct experience in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of information technology systems is essential.

Travel:

Minimal travel is anticipated for this position, which may include locations within and outside the continental United States.

Work Environment:

This role may be performed in various settings, including commercial and government offices, test and integration labs, and government facilities.

Physical requirements include the ability to:

+ Move independently.

+ Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

+ Endure extended periods of sitting and computer usage.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, typically Monday through Friday, with flexibility around core hours.
