Job Overview

QED Systems, LLC is seeking a System Engineer to contribute expertise at a high level. This role is contingent upon award.

The System Engineer will deliver specialized knowledge to senior leadership within the C5ISR Center, assisting in the formulation of strategies and technical methodologies for innovative Science & Technology (S&T) initiatives. This position aims to enhance the mission effectiveness of the C5ISR Center and its technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and integration of research and exploratory development programs.
  • Provide strategic management and analytical support for the C5ISR Center's planning processes.
  • Update and enhance existing operational business processes within the C5ISR Center.
  • Collaborate with government personnel on the System Engineering Life Cycle for new engineering initiatives, implementing necessary upgrades related to security and emerging technologies.
  • Coordinate engineering efforts with the Garrison Department of Public Works and the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
  • Possess knowledge of construction and contract procedures, effectively navigating APG and JBMDL DPW organizations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in requirements gathering, scheduling, contract procurement, and quality control reporting.
  • Ensure mission continuity and energy efficiency across projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Detail-oriented with strong technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proven track record in supporting large-scale technical projects.
  • Experience in electronic design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with DoD testing policies and procedures.

Clearance Requirement:

  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret w/ SCI

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree preferred (Bachelor's degree required) in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience is required.

Travel Expectations:

Travel is anticipated to be less than 10%. This may include both domestic and international locations.

Work Environment:

This position will be located within government office spaces alongside other contractors. Occasional visits to government facilities under renovation may be necessary.

  • Endure extended periods of sitting and computer use.

Position Type and Work Hours:

This is a full-time role, operating Monday through Friday with flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of standard hours.

Salary Range:

Estimated annual salary range is $142,000 to $193,200. This is not a guarantee of compensation and may vary based on experience and location.
