Job Overview

QED Systems, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineering Specialist to provide expert guidance and support in the realm of systems engineering. This role is essential for enhancing the operational effectiveness of the C5ISR Center and its associated divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the strategic planning and integration of innovative research and development initiatives.
  • Deliver specialized management and analytical support for the strategic planning processes of the C5ISR Center.
  • Enhance existing operational processes through technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with government personnel to oversee the System Engineering Life Cycle for new engineering initiatives, ensuring compliance with security and technological standards.
  • Coordinate engineering efforts with relevant departments and agencies.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of construction and contract procedures, facilitating effective collaboration with various organizations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in requirements gathering, project scheduling, procurement, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure operational continuity and energy efficiency across all projects.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented with strong technical, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale technical projects.
  • Proficient in electronic design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with DoD testing policies and procedures.

Clearance Requirements:

  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret w/ SCI

Educational Background:

  • Master's degree preferred (Bachelor's degree required) in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience is required.

Travel Expectations:

Minimal travel (less than 10%) may be required, potentially including both domestic and international locations.

Work Environment:

This position will be integrated with client personnel and other contractors in government office settings, with possible visits to facilities undergoing renovations.

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Endure extended periods of desk work and computer usage.

Position Type and Work Hours:

This is a full-time role, operating Monday through Friday with flexible hours. Travel may occur outside of standard working hours.

Salary Range:

Estimated annual salary range is $142,000 to $193,200. This range is indicative and may vary based on experience and location.
