Demonstrate proficiency with technologies relevant to our sector (ISR, Cyber, EW, etc.). The contractor will deliver systems engineering support across all projects managed by PEO IEW&S. An integrated system solution will be employed, considering development, manufacturing, testing, evaluation, verification, deployment, and operational phases concurrently. The contractor's systems engineering tasks may encompass, but are not limited to:- Providing acquisition management guidance and insights based on a thorough comprehension of Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI Operation of the Defense Acquisition System), AR 70-1 (Army Acquisition Policy), MIL HDBK 245 (SOW Preparation Handbook), and MIL HDBK 61A (Configuration Management).
- Collaborating with PEO Headquarters personnel (including budget, systems engineering, logistics, and contract planning) to identify, prepare, review, and monitor the approval of program documentation.
- Draft, review, and circulate engineering and programmatic documents, such as: Systems Engineering Plan, Test and Evaluation Master Plan, Information Support Plan, Program Protection Plan, Materiel Release Package, and Cybersecurity Strategy.
- Participate in technical evaluations, including pre-review and post-review activities, such as: Software Specification Review, System Requirements Review, Functional Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, Production Readiness Review, Functional Configuration Audit, and Physical Configuration Audit. Familiarity with IEEE Technical Reviews and PEO IEW&S Policy for Technical Review is essential.
- Contribute to weekly/bi-weekly integrated product teams and working groups by providing subject matter expertise.
- Consult with Army leadership on Lessons Learned, Executive Summaries, and PEO IEW&S policies and procedures.
- Offer subject matter expertise during Post-Award Conferences.
- Review all systems engineering documentation in preparation for Milestone Decision Reviews.
- Develop, analyze, and monitor the Integrated Master Schedules and Risks of programs.
- Assess and provide feedback regarding:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current Security TS/SCI clearance.
A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is mandatory.
