Position: webMethods Administrator / Developer

Location: Hybrid - Must be local and able to report on short notice.

Contract Duration: 6 months with potential extensions.

Visa Requirements: USC, GC, and GC-EAD (H1 Consultants are acceptable if they will receive a GC within 1 year).

Interview Process: In-person.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience:
    • Administering webMethods (wM) and its associated components.
    • Utilizing wM JDBC, MQ, and SAP adapters.
    • Advanced proficiency in wM Integration Service (IS), Trading Networks (TN), My webMethods Server, Designer, and Optimize.
    • Integrating SAG products with Windows Active Directory using LDAP protocol.
    • Parsing PDF/XLSX files in wM with Java libraries.
    • Working with web services, flow services, Java services, and flat file schemas/dictionaries.
    • Developing flat file schemas and dictionaries for parsing various file formats.
    • Creating keystores and truststores on Integration servers.
    • Troubleshooting wM products, including custom code.
    • Providing application support and enhancements in a dynamic environment.
    • Maintaining technical documentation related to application interfaces.
  • 5 years of experience:
    • Working with HTTPS, SFTP, and MQ over SSL.
    • Engaging with REST services and Mediator for authentication setup.
    • Managing Trading Networks and the Partner onboarding process.
    • Utilizing SFTP/FTP/SOAP protocols.
  • 3 years of experience:
    • Creating Optimize for Infrastructure rules to monitor scheduled jobs, queues, and adapter connections.
    • Implementing STS using wM CS/Mediator.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Support development efforts for new and existing wM packages in line with established standards and security requirements.
  • Assist current support staff in resolving performance issues.
  • Collaborate with project and application developers on web services development, testing, and implementation.
  • Evaluate current infrastructure and performance capacity based on usage.
  • Engage in troubleshooting efforts related to wM products and custom code.
  • Review existing packages and provide insights for troubleshooting and code modifications.
  • Support web services development, testing, and debugging for enterprise and project-specific needs.
  • Document procedures and best practices for wM administration.
  • Participate in the day-to-day administration and operations, including deployments for new projects.
  • Conduct hands-on work to support project testing efforts.
  • Assist in evaluating and deploying fixes, as well as addressing tasks related to product upgrades.
