A Typical Day The Vice President of IT Project Management Operations (PMO) is tasked with guiding a team that is executing an IT program or a series of intricate IT projects.

As the VP of IT PMO, you will establish and prioritize program and project goals, essential success factors, and deliverables.


The Vice President IT PMO will:
Foster and sustain relationships with project leaders, business stakeholders, resource managers, technical and business teams
Instill a shared commitment to achieving results within the team
Oversee the project life cycle utilizing traditional software development and Agile methodologies for strategic initiatives that vary in scope, budget, and complexity, involving significant levels of risk
Supervise business requirement gathering, system requirement development, and documentation
Implement project management principles with a high level of rigor, suitable to the program or project
Identify critical-path decisions, provide recommendations, and influence outcomes to ensure project progress
Perform additional related duties as required and assigned
Exhibit behaviors that align with the organization's desired culture and values
What You'll Bring A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of experience in IT, quality assurance, product management, engineering, or operations
3+ years of experience with large-scale project management phases, techniques, and tools
Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Visio, along with multi-tier application development (user interfaces, application, database)

Compensation:
Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location/market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role

Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.


Salary:
$90,000 - $150,000
