Position Overview
A client of Insight Global is in search of a fully remote Senior Tax Strategy Manager to become a vital part of their rapidly expanding team. This organization has innovatively distanced itself from conventional CPA firm practices.

They have eliminated the audit segment of accounting and are concentrating on tax compliance, tax advisory, venture capital, wealth enhancement, tax strategy, and tax structuring.

Since its establishment, the firm has experienced a remarkable 30% growth in revenue and has welcomed 20 seasoned professionals to its ranks.

The firm fosters a familial atmosphere within a CPA framework, acting as the primary advisors for clients regarding their tax, investment, and business management requirements.

Key Responsibilities
We are seeking intelligent, personable, and diligent individuals eager to advance their careers in taxation while gaining insights into venture capital, strategic planning, and intricate business operations across various sectors.

Successful candidates will engage closely with clients in all facets, aiming to develop comprehensive expertise in tax return preparation and ultimately consulting for a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing an independent portfolio of clients.
  • Conducting final reviews of returns before submission to the director/signer.
  • Overseeing at least two direct reports, ensuring quality performance and deliverables.
  • Participating in high-level planning and advisory sessions, executing decisions made during these meetings.
  • Leading client meetings and ensuring all service aspects are addressed.
  • Exercising autonomy in client-facing decisions after mastering the operational model and objectives.
  • Effectively managing multiple client accounts and demonstrating strong multitasking abilities.

Qualifications
• 8 to 15 years of experience in public accounting
• CPA certification required
• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field
• Experience with pass-through tax returns is essential
• Proven experience in team leadership, client account management, and consulting
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to tackle unfamiliar projects
• Preferred experience in wealth management, trust/estate, and individual income tax returns
• Proficiency in software such as CCH Axcess and CCH Engagement is required.
