Job Summary:

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Facilities Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, providing support to site staff, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Facilities Director in managing the lease portfolio and coordinating facility functions across our global property portfolio.
  • Oversee the selection and implementation of new projects, including large-scale renovations and internal reconfigurations.
  • Provide direction and partnership to vendors and third-party providers to carry out maintenance and operations according to established standards.
  • Manage contractors for site maintenance, repairs/alterations, janitorial services, HVAC, and regulatory compliance.
  • Interface with landlords and their representatives regarding facility issues.
  • Work within financial accounts payable and possess strong business acumen.
  • Become a trusted partner and build strong relationships with business and shared leaders to enhance the employee experience.
  • Plan and participate in all facets of facility new or improvement projects, including identifying and obtaining requirements, conducting bids, financial budgeting & analysis, and working with vendors and consultants.
  • Have good communication skills and be responsive.
  • Be independent, flexible, and creative in responding to customers and projects with a can-do attitude.
  • Continuously identify areas to improve efficiency and drive business to operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Previous work with various building trades and/or contractors.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders and outside vendors.
  • Basic math aptitude/skills and the ability to do measurements.
  • HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, and/or General Construction experience preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as work independently.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to travel to other Spirent offices as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation for this role will be competitive and based on experience. Benefits will include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
