POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Senior Vice President of Media Engagement, you will spearhead our international media relations initiatives. Your role will involve crafting and executing comprehensive media strategies, managing public relations challenges, and serving as the primary spokesperson. This position demands a strategic visionary with a proactive approach to storytelling and exceptional skills in building media relationships. You will report directly to the Global Head of Communications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Formulate and execute a media relations strategy that aligns with Live Nation Worldwide, Inc.'s business objectives and brand vision.
  • Lead, mentor, and oversee the media relations team to achieve strategic targets.
  • Serve as the spokesperson, addressing media inquiries and conducting briefings.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with influential media outlets and key journalists.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure unified messaging.
  • Produce press materials, press releases, media kits, and digital content.
  • Track media coverage, industry developments, and provide insights to senior management.
  • Manage sensitive inquiries and devise response strategies.
  • Evaluate and report on the success of media relations initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10-15 years of experience in media relations, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Experience in corporate communications is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing effective media relations strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Established network of media contacts.
  • Experience in managing crisis communications.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth understanding of the media landscape.
