Our Centers of Excellence are strategically located in various regions across the U.S.

We are currently seeking a Senior Security Operations Specialist to deliver security management assistance for the Over the Horizon Radar (OTHR) initiative.

Position Details

Location: Bedford, MA

Employment Status: Full Time

Travel Requirements: To Be Determined

Essential Qualifications / Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in Department of Defense (DoD) security protocols, including the handling of classified information, mail security, courier regulations, incident reporting, and sanctions for security breaches.
  • Thorough understanding and up-to-date knowledge of Operations Security (OPSEC) practices.
  • Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship are mandatory for all candidates.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of three years of experience in the applicable technical or professional area, including at least three years within the DoD.
  • Alternatively, seven years of relevant experience with appropriate certifications, five of which must be in the DoD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising, assessing, maintaining, and/or managing systems, policies, devices, procedures, and methodologies for safeguarding information, assets, personnel, operations, and materials.
  • Formulating and executing policies and procedures for evaluating the character, background, and history of employees, job candidates, and others who may be granted access to classified or sensitive information, materials, or work environments.
  • Providing comprehensive security support for controlled facility access, conducting security checks and documentation, preparing for inspections, escorting personnel, and establishing and enforcing personnel security protocols and best practices.
  • Issuing reminders and ongoing notifications to Program Office personnel regarding OPSEC practices.
