About the Role

Lantheus, a leading innovator in medical imaging and diagnostics, is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our security architecture program and collaborating with business leaders to design and implement secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Architecture Leadership: Oversee the strategic and operational aspects of our Security Architecture program, providing guidance and support to business leaders on security architecture design and implementation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key IT stakeholders across the organization, supporting project teams to leverage the cybersecurity program and provide measurements of inherent risk for risk-based decision making.
  • Security Guidance: Establish and provide security architecture guidance to the Change Review Board, serving as a Subject Matter Resource to provide in-depth expertise on security principles and ensure controls are included in technical requirements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Provide guidance on maintaining compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards through pragmatic solutions and recommendations to meet or exceed security requirements.
  • Culture and Awareness: Promote an IT Security culture within the business and application management teams, building an external network regarding IT Security relevant to the business function.
  • Process Development: Define, implement, and document processes for Application Security, SSO, Federated ID Management, IAM, Role-Based Access Control, and Data Security, including encryption, privacy management, data classification, and assigning security levels based on classification.
  • Infrastructure Integration: Work closely with the IT Infrastructure team to integrate security solutions into infrastructure processes, business strategy, and applications development processes.
  • Risk Assessment: Perform risk/threat assessments of IT projects and related plans to ensure the appropriate security controls are incorporated into the design and operation of new technologies.
  • Documentation and Maintenance: Document and maintain security architecture designs and secure data flows for internal and external API connectivity by third parties.
  • Third-Party Risk Assessments: Ensure Third-Party Risk Assessments (TPRAs) and product implementations are aligned with the Enterprise Security Architecture.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 5 years in security architecture solution design, and 5+ years of management/leadership experience, managing people, projects, budgets, and processes.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations, including NIST, SOX, HIPAA, PCI, ISO, GDPR, CCPA, HITRUST, GxP, and others.
  • Technical Expertise: Direct experience implementing enterprise-wide security solutions and documenting supporting processes and practices, including solution workflow diagrams, system documentation, playbooks, etc.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong domain expertise and understanding of security architecture, security technologies, data protection, application security/SDLC, cloud security, and threat modeling.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate risks to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
