Position Overview

Key Responsibilities of a Team Leader Include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service within the store, ensuring customers receive accurate and comprehensive information regarding Läderach offerings.
  • Managing product sales and cash register operations, which includes maintaining shop and shelf organization, gift wrapping, and fulfilling in-store orders.
  • Aiming to meet store sales objectives through effective product recommendations.
  • Assisting in maintaining compliance with in-store policies and loss prevention measures.
  • Adhering to merchandising standards and food safety regulations.
  • Assisting store management with visual merchandising setups and various store initiatives.
  • Conducting cash register counts.
  • Opening and closing the store as required.
  • Training and supervising Store Associates.
  • Ensuring smooth store operations in the absence of a manager.
  • A Team Leader will also support the Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager with the following tasks:
    • Inventory counting
    • Processing damaged merchandise
    • Handling returns
    • Assisting with order management

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in premium retail or a similar fast-paced, customer-focused environment (preferably in the food sector), with a track record of increasing responsibilities.
  • Possessing strong interpersonal skills with effective communication abilities.
  • Demonstrating reliability and flexibility, including the willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to communicate in multiple languages.
  • A genuine passion for chocolate.
