Department Overview

The In-Home Services division is at the forefront of our field operations, overseeing thousands of technicians across nearly 100 locations nationwide. We are committed to fostering a collaborative and dedicated workforce that manages inventory, fleet operations, and performance metrics - IHS is the essential link connecting our customers with top-tier products and services offered by DISH.


Key Responsibilities

This role presents an exciting opportunity to independently oversee a multifaceted business while paving the way for advancement into senior-level leadership positions across multiple sites. As the principal site leader, the Operations Manager is accountable for the overall success of the facility by guiding employee efforts to meet performance objectives. As an Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include supervising facility operations while mentoring and directing managers and service technicians.

  • Guiding employee activities, which may involve direct support in the field, to achieve location-specific performance targets.
  • Developing a high-performance team to ensure superior quality and service in all daily operations.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership and leveraging financial insights to enhance performance outcomes.
  • Inspiring and engaging all employees in exploring new business opportunities and strategies.
  • Implementing programs and practices that ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Establishing, nurturing, and maintaining strategic business relationships within the market, region, and organization.

This Operations Management position is highly hands-on, requiring a leader who exemplifies proactive and strategic thinking. The success of the Operations Manager is directly tied to the performance of their team, making it crucial to possess the confidence and capability to effectively coach, train, and develop team members. Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is strongly preferred, along with 2 years of management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Skills:

  • Adaptability, creativity, and the ability to manage personnel, responsibilities, and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-sensitive environment.
  • Ability to effectively engage with staff at all organizational levels.
  • Outstanding presentation, facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation ranges from $83,950.00 to $119,900.00 annually.

The base salary range provided is a guideline. Individual total compensation may vary based on qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is also influenced by the role's location and may change based on work location. Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment screening, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
