Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management and entry of ongoing climate policies into our tracking database.
  • Support the analysis team with research aimed at identifying data and methodologies for evaluating state policy progress.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans and identify necessary technical resources.
  • Collaborate with team members to prepare materials for significant meetings.
  • Conduct thorough policy research, analyze trends, and draft informative papers and guides for states regarding climate policy options.
  • Provide additional support as required.
Qualifications
  • Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an undergraduate or graduate program.
  • Strong research capabilities with clear and concise writing skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in state climate policy and collaborative initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data manipulation software is preferred.
  • Interest in innovative communication methods for complex technical information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrating responsibility and flexibility.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Must be able to adhere to attendance policies and work within designated hours.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and manage stress effectively.
